Seducing Stamps

I have been walking along the street today and saw a
flowers stall. Something came over me and I bought MYSELF a rose (this is a
flower). I kept on walking with it. It was amazing how people’s attitude changed
toward me, they became somewhat sympathetic. And the girl passing me by looked
at the flower with a bit of jealousy. A couple of times I would come up with a
question to some girls and they would so eagerly reply that when I was leaving
I noticed something like pity in their eyes. About a dozen times girls would
come up to me and ask:”You are going to give us your flower, ain’t you?” At
first I’d reply “with pleasure” and then I would say that if was given to me
and the girls’ eyes would start popping out of their heads.
It may be helpful for someone who is afraid
to be turned down. You are bound to win in this case:
-
It’s obvious that you are not coming up for
opinion Poll/advertising/sales. They are eager to help if you ask for a small
favor.
-
You are STANDING OUT from the crowd – you
attract their attention!!
I had always been doing it with a foolish
grin upon my face:
- Excuse me, may I ask you for a small
favor?
- Sure.
- I need to buy some beer. Could you help
me to choose it?
...She would go with pleasure.
- Excuse me, may I ask you for a small
favor?
- Sure.
- Could you tell me where I can find a
café here... could you show it to me?
And so on... In the upshot I gave the flower to a very nice
girl, a waitress in the café. The girl was stunned.
It was on Monday. I am walking along the avenue from the
University. I see a good-looking girl who is walking in advance. What do I do
to get acquainted with her in an unusual way? – no ideas. Nevermind! I keep on
going without catching up with her. I see her entering the nearest store. I
follow her. I notice that she’s looking for stockings. I leave the store and
keep on walking slowly. She follows me and as her pace is a bit faster than
mine in half a minute we are walking side by side – she is to my left. We have
been walking together for two minutes already – I don’t pay any attention to
her. In some time she turns right and heads for another store. I walk on
without looking at her. Having passed about 200 m., I turn around and see her
going out into the street. I enter some drugstore. I wait until she comes
closer and then I come out and keep walking still ahead of her. Another store
is on our way. I stop to cross the street. She stands by me, I turn to her,
smile and she smiles in return. I cross the street and enter the store. She
also enters it after me. I run around along the counters and leave. I walk on.
I see her in the distance leaving the store. I come up to the closest flowers
stall, buy an exotic flower (don’t remember what it was) and keep on going. As
she’s walking faster than me she catches up with me at the nearest crossroad. I
hold the flower so that she couldn’t see it. I smile at her again. She returns
my smile. And at this moment I turn to her with the flower:
-
I would like to give this flower to the
beautiful stranger who has been following me for more than half an hour.
-
Thank you.

My name is Andrew. You know what, why don’t we
have a snack somewhere around here? I know a café, a real nice one, cozy
and with a good cuisine. We could talk and make a closer acquaintance.
Ok. We go to the café where we have a very nice
chat.
In the end I get the girl’s phone number. This is what I call an unusual and
pleasant way to meet the girl.
It was last summer in a health resort.
I met a girl at the pontoon. Until that
moment we just smiled to each other at a distance. So I tell jokes amusing the
company. SHE also laughs and ads something funny. I tell her:
- You are such a cutie! Wouldn’t I just hug
you!
- Hug me, - she smiles. (I give her a hug).
- And kiss you!
- Kiss me (she smiles again as if it’s a
joke). (I give her a light kiss).
I tell her jokingly:
- Why don’t we go make a baby?
- Ok.
She takes my hand and we leave followed by
the stunned looks of the company. We were walking in the nearest wood, holding
hands, joking and when it got dark...
I come to the library and see a pretty girl sitting
ALONE. I take a seat beside her. For a couple of minutes I just sit like
an idiot. Nothing comes to my head. Then a thought flashes my mind – why
don’t I take a book? I come up to the card index, take a box with letter M and
pull out a card with Papuan Nauri Myths. I order the book and wait. And the
girl is writing a research work surrounded with heaps of books with specific
names – I couldn’t keep in mind any of them. The only thing I understood was
that they were all devoted to the subject of some toxic substances influence
on
some hemoglobin-formation (or something like this).
- Sorry to bother you. I will have to sit
here for the next 40 minutes. Can I have one of your interesting books?
She holds out one without even asking me
why I would read something so specific. I skip through it. Then I get my book. The
girl notices it. She gets really interested. Then we talk. I find out where she
studies. Then a really exciting myth distracts my attention from her for a
couple of minutes. She stands up with all her stuff and leaves. In a moment I
start looking for her. She doesn’t seem to be in the building. I get dressed
and come outside. She’s not there. I lost her. She must have stayed somewhere
in the library.
